Many cats struggle in loud, warehouse-style boarding environments where constant noise, unfamiliar animals, and rigid routines can elevate stress long after a stay ends.

Whiskers Lodge was created as a quieter, more intentional alternative. Our boutique size, private suites, and unrushed care allow each guest to settle at their own pace, with attention tailored to their comfort level. This is boarding designed for cats who need calm, not chaos.

Whiskers Lodge is currently in the permitting process with the Seattle–King County Public Health Department and is preparing to operate under a Pet Business Permit. Our facility is being built and operated to meet all applicable King County permitting, sanitation, and humane care regulations prior to opening.

Our private suites are available in two thoughtfully designed options: Classic Suites at 17 sq ft and Deluxe Suites at 25 sq ft. Each space is carefully arranged for comfort, privacy, and restful lounging.

Our entire building is fully climate-controlled to maintain steady comfort year-round. The lodge is kept around 70°F (21°C) for a calm, consistent environment—warm in winter, cool in summer.

At Whiskers Lodge, pricing reflects a fundamentally different approach to boarding. We offer private, lodge-inspired suites, individualized daily care, and a low-stimulation environment designed around feline emotional wellbeing.

We’re not a high-volume facility built for throughput. We’re a boutique retreat where each cat receives focused attention, thoughtful enrichment, and the space to move through their stay comfortably and confidently.

We’re actively preparing to open and expect to begin early booking soon, with a full opening planned for early March 2026.
